Hey y’all!

Sending this one a little late this week – whoops! Didn’t get it done before heading to the gym. But hey, I still got it done on Sunday, so it’s not *really* that late.

READING

This week, I finished Mockingjay (a reread for a Hunger Games and Society class), Dark Restraint by Katee Robert, and Hungerstone by Kat Dunn.

I’m currently reading Deep End by Ali Hazelwood (and VERY here for it), Dark Star Burning Ash Falls White by Amelie Wen Zhao (the sequel to a book I read last month), The Starving Saints by Caitlin Starling (very into this ARC so far), and Chain-Gang All-Stars by Nana Kwame Adjei-Brenyah (taking my time with this one but plan to finish by the end of the month).

EATING

My fiancé and I went to a Soup Swap yesterday, hosted by a friend of ours! It was so much fun: everyone brought a soup to share (we also had homemade croutons and cookies) and then we brought tupperwear and filled them up with portions to take home. It was such a great way to bring people together and share good food. Plus, everyone got to go home with a mix of leftovers rather than one soup that they’ll be tired of eating after 2 days!

I made this delicious Three Sisters Stew to exchange, which has been a favorite of mine lately.

PLAYING

New Sam Fender!! Between this, new Lumineers, new Mumford & Sons soon, new Lord Huron soon, and new Lucy Dacus soon, it’s gonna be a good season for music.
